The family here, at Bethany, has come to experience God’s love in many wonderful ways, especially in finding forgiveness through his son Jesus. The expression of our gratitude to God has become very important to us. It is showing itself in increasing measure through heart-felt worship, loving service to one another, and humble attempts at sharing our faith with the community around us.

Pastor Joel came to Bethany Bible Fellowship Church in September of 2012 to serve as our Youth Pastor, and he remained in that role until July of 2019, when he transitioned into the role of Senior Pastor. Joel was blessed to have many godly influences on his life through parents, grandparents, pastors, and church leaders ever since he was a child. He has also had the privilege of completing his B.S. in Bible (Pastoral Ministry emphasis) from Lancaster Bible College and his M.Div. in Pastoral Ministry from Missio Theological Seminary. Joel has a passion for proclaiming God’s Word and for coming alongside others to help them get to where God wants them to be. Joel married his wife, Ellie, in July of 2018, and they enjoy serving in many ways together at Bethany, as well as playing multiple musical instruments and enjoying God’s creation through day trips to State Parks.
